The sleep tracking could also be more accurate. Dosnt. Better than previous models, but dosnt always know that I'm awake in bed for awhile.

Sound and Bluetooth seems more stable when running, interface runs smoothly and the battery life has been consistent so far. Still need to see if this will hold over time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massively regret purchasing this watch If you're buying this for running, don't. Heart rate is wildly inaccurate. One day it will claim my heart rate is under 90 during a run (should be in the 140s), the next it will have it over 200 which is physiologically impossible. A main feature I wanted was for my partner to be able to track my location during a run, but this is near impossible. Samsung health doesn't work with strava beacon, google maps won't get my location from the watch, and when i tried to share it from samsung's find app it told me I can't because the location is coming from the watch. The only option seems to be to use Strava's app, but it doesn't work with the watch's button which means you have to try using a touch screen to start/pause etc. during the run which works about as well as it sounds with sweaty fingers in bright sunlight. I honestly don't understand what the point of even including lte on this watch is. Another reason I finally pulled the trigger on this watch was because it supposedly has support for creating interval workouts. While technically true, the workout settings are so comically limited as to make the feature useless. You specify a warm up and cool down time or distance (must specify an exact amount for these, no option like garmins 'until lap button press), then a "workout 1" and an optional "workout 2". I wanted to do 2x2mi and 1x1mi but this seemed too complex of a workout for this $600 watch to handle You need to install at least 3 separate apps on your phone to use all of the watch's features. 2 of these apps are both called Samsung Health just with different icons but both contain different functionality for the device. I massively regret purchasing this watch and will be trying to sell it since I'm already outside of Samsung's miserly 15 day return period

I like the virtual bezel. It works arguably better than the Classic's physical bezel. Haven't gotten a hang of gestures yet but plenty of useful tools can be launched instantly. My favorites are stopwatch, workouts, and Google Wallet. Als0 like that you can configure both Google and Bixby voice assistants. Love how the media player on the Ultra automatically controls what you're playing.

The real one looks better than the photo. However, the battery life is not that great, considering the price tag. In addition, the running app UI is not that great compared to the Garmin app. I want to add my running shoes or other gear to track the use time.

The watch is huge. If you have small wrist or small frame in general. The watch may look like you strapped a small phone to your wrist. The Samsung straps that come with could be a little softer. The biggest item that is more of a software integration issue gets me is Bixby and Google messages do not talk to each other. You cannot use Bixby to send messages on the google messages app only the Samsung message app. Other than that awesome watch.

Biggest complaint however, is control over the software, mainly Samsung health. I have no interest in that app or its notifications. However, Samsung has apparently made it so you are unable to block notifications from Samsung health, which is really annoying. Also, the new, third button looks cool but is almost entirely useless. Samsung really locked down what you can assign to it, so unless you like Bixby (I don't), it's going to be used for a flashlight which is pretty sad.

Disappointed I I have tv, tablets, watches, phones, washer dryer and frig. Not I don't know if I will.purchase again

Only issue is the marine band has the raised metal strap hold down and it's very uncomfortable to have the watch on and type on a laptop computer. Screen is great in the sun and can made very bright.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch, except for ability to block health not No complaints, EXCEPT FOR THE ABILITY TO BLOCK HEALTH NOTIFICATIONS, samsung it is VERY IMPORTANT that you guys address this in a upcoming update, galaxy users have been able to block those for years and if not many others have/will complain about this, if that can be addressed this watch will be perfect, users dont need to be told good job every couple of hours if they dont want to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Watch, but I Miss the Rotating Bezel It's a great-looking watch. The new watch faces are the best I've seen. A rotating bezel would have given this watch 5 stars. I found the rotating bezel more accurate and easier to use than touching the glass to switch between tiles while leaving fingerprints on the crystal. It's hard to tell from the pictures on Samsung's site, but the bezel and sides of the watch look like white plastic. I expected the sides and bezel to be titanium with a silver shine. Watch bands are easy to switch thanks to a new button on the bottom of the watch--just press it and lift to remove the band.

I get about 18 hours of batter life with the "always on" display in operation. About 36 with the on- demand display, and a couple of days with the battery conservation, which limits the functionality. I do use the sleep tracking, step counts compass & weather. Still, a beautiful and useful watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Upgrade I bought the watch in March of this year and have been wearing it for just over a month. I replaced a Galaxy Watch 5. I was a bit worried about the slightly larger size, but I honestly don't notice any difference in the size or weight. Using the Smart Things app, the transition of extremely easy to switch the majority of my settings and apps from the old watch to the new. One thing I really appreciate is the higher brightness settings. We often use the local walking trails and even in the brightest sunlight I am always able to easily see the watch face. The improved sensors seem to provide more accurate tracking of the various health apps included with the watch. I also appreciate the "Night Mode" that switches to a red dial. Using the adaptive lighting the red dial is easy to read in the dark and doesn't make it difficult to get back to sleep. The newer attachment method for attaching the watch bands is a real plus. The buttons on the bottom of the watch enables a quick release of the band and alternate bands can easily snap on to the watch. If there is a down side to the watch, it is the silicon/plastic bands that come with the watch. If you are heavily into sports, they may be perfect, but they look cheap and I really don't like the clammy feel of the bands. I had a metal link band on my previous Galaxy watch and the first thing I did when ordering my new watch was order a metal band that I received before the watch arrived.

I have handful of watches but this one by far my favorite with couple of issues. I wish watch can accomodate use of bands from previous Samsung watches out if the bilox instead of using 3rd party adaptor/clips. Also Samsung OEM white band stains very easily especially from my jeans and can't get the stains out at all.

I am happy I upgraded it also doesn't feel that much bigger to me. I charge every 4 days, the battery life is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but could be better I like it a lot. I wish it had a rotating bezel or a touch sensitive one, or a rotating quick action button. They make 3 S model phones and 3 to 5 S tab tablets. I think they should do the same for their watches. Example: Galaxy watch 8, Galaxy watch 8 classic, and Galaxy watch 8 ultra. That would appeal to all their customers needs and happiness. They also need A TON more faces or partner with a reparable maker like "Facer."

Not to make calls ,but to be updated on text messages. I am still learning what it will do. Like my son found games...who knew. It is a bit heavy on the wrist for me. I like the fact that I can change the face so it better suites my need. Now my son wants one.

The battery life is great, I wake up early in the morning, around 6am, and now it's 1am next night and the watch is still at 80%. The programmable button is very useful for me as a stopwatch, one click and the measurement started, great feature! The monitor is very readable even at my age, the watch and the band look fantastic with the white color, usually steals attention of those who sees it first time. Functionality is great, much better than the previous versions. This is actually the very first watch, and I had all previous versions, that doesn't forget being on me and I don't need to periodically enter my password to unlock it. Once entered in the morning it keeps this status until I put it on the charger, great improvement!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is good, but could be better. It is good, but could be better. The tracking of everything becomes unreliable after some sweat build up during the workout. Rest of the time I think it does a good job, but the main reason anyone would think about getting this watch is to track the workouts. The big bulge which has all the sensors keeps the watch moving along the wrist, where as a flat surface would have kept the watch stable in 1 location for more reliable tracking(This is what I think.) Over all I think this is a good watch.

Sometimes the watch doesn't register my sleep, but I sleep so poorly anyway, it may not think I am sleeping. Another fight for another day. Im overall pleased with this device.

Mileage while running and walking is pretty accurate just from what I've measured, heart rate while working out on weight machines at the gym is always spot on. Battery life is great at 3 days (including sleep tracking). The device gets warm while charging, but the small magnetic wireless charger is sweet. I only wish it had a usb-c port on it instead of having a cable come out of it. My only complaints are that is is a thick boy, it's stand off of my wrist much taller than a regular analog watch. Also, the included strap isn't terrible comfortable, and also bulky. And replacement straps are pricey.
